The 11 stocks that have been added to the futures and options (F&O) segment have risen between 1-7% each on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) today.
Adani Enterprises, Apollo Tyres, Areva T&D India, BGR Energy Systems, Fortis Healthcare, Godrej Industries, Jain Irrigation Sytems, McLeod Russel, Mundra Port and SEZ, OnMobile Global and Videocon Industries were introduced in F&O segment from February 19.
Godrej Industries and OnMobile Global are the major gainers - up more than 7% each at Rs 159 and Rs 393, respectively. The trading volumes on both these counters have also surged significantly with 470,000 equity shares changing hands at the Godrej Industries counter, and 4.41 million shares traded at the OnMobile Global counter.
Videocon Industries has gained 6.5% at Rs 233 and Fortis Healthcare is up 6% at Rs 160 on the NSE. BGR Energy, Areva T&D, Apollo Tyres and McLeod Russel have appreciated 4% each, while Mundra Port and SEZ, Adani Enterprises and Jain Irrigations are up 1-3% each.
