The sale of 'The Leela, Goa' has been completed on December 14, 2015, Hotel Leelaventure said in a BSE filing.
Earlier, the board of directors of the company at their meeting held on September 19, 2015, had approved, the sale of the entire undertaking of the company pertaining to the hotel in Goa, namely "The Leela, Goa", Mobor, Goa, on a slump sale basis, for a lump sum consideration of Rs 725 crore to Ceres Hotels Private Limited, by way of business transfer agreement.
The shareholding of the company shall remain unaffected pursuant to the aforesaid sale, it added.
At 09:32 AM, the stock was up 3% at Rs 20.90 as compared to 0.20% fall in the S&P BSE Sensex. A combined 769,701 shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.
