Most of the Indian ADRs ended negatively yesterday, with HDFC Bank losing nearly 11% to close at $160.78. MTNL was the next biggest loser, slipping 9% to close at $2.42, while Tata Motors ended 6% down at $27.86.
ICICI Bank at $46.46, and Tata Communications at $10.82, both down 5%, were the other major losers on the ADR chart. Sterlite Industries closed down 4% at $14.55, while Satyam computer Systems lost 3% at $2.77.
Pharma major Dr Reddy's Laboratories at $40.66, and Patni Computer Systems at $20.45 ended 2% in the negative, and Infosys at $69.47 closed down nearly 1%.
The only ADRs which closed positively for the day were Wipro at $14.58 up 1%, and Genpact at $15.02, up marginally by half a percent.
