Jain Irrigation Systems has surged 8% on bagging orders worth Rs 65 crore from teh Himachal Pradesh government.
The stock opened up 6% at Rs 587. It slipped to a low of Rs 576 before gaining strength and surging to a high of Rs 602. The stock is now up 8.5% at Rs 600. 8,839 shares have been traded on the BSE so far.
The company has informed the BSE that it has bagged an order from the Department of Irrigation and Public Health for an irrigation project in Balh Valley, Himachal Pradesh. The order is worth Rs 65.11 crore.
