The company’s transmission and distribution business has secured orders in Saudi Arabia, Uganda, India and the Americas amounting to Rs 1,126 crore, while cable business has secures orders worth Rs 83 crore for the supply of power and telecom cables, KEC International said in a statement.
Among the major orders, the company received the order of Rs 736 crore from Saudi Electricity Company for supply and construction of 230 kV and 380 kV transmission lines.
The stock opened at Rs 124 and touched a high of Rs 128 on BSE. A combined 1.44 million shares changed hands on the counter till noon deals on BSE and NSE.
