 "Kothari Products surges on bonus issue plan")
Kothari Products has surged 13% to Rs 255, extending its previous day’s 6% gain on the NSE, after the company announced that the board of directors will meet on November 10, to consider issue of bonus shares.
A meeting of the board of directors of the company will be held on November 10, 2015, to consider and take on record the un-audited financial results for the quarter & half year ended on September 30, 2015, Kothari Products said in a filing.
The board will also consider to issue of bonus shares, it added.
Earlier, in March 2014, the company had issued bonus shares in the ratio of 2 (two) bonus equity shares for every 1 (one) existing equity share.
The stock hit a high of Rs 265 so far and has seen a combined 43,201 shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE till 09:23 am.
