Lead down 0.3% on subdued spot demand

Subdued demand from battery-makers affected lead futures

Lead futures for May fell 35 paise, or 0.31%, to Rs 112.50 per kg in 91 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract shed 30 paise, or 0.27%, to Rs 111.85 per kg in 1,862 lots.

Subdued demand from battery-makers, mainly affected the lead futures prices.
