Markets in red; breadth marginally negative

The Sensex is now down 69 points at 14,218.
The NSE Nifty is down 12 points at 4,302.
Tata Motors has plunged over 5% to Rs 395. ITC has shed 3.5% at Rs 181.
Maruti has slipped 2.5% to Rs 574, and SBI has dropped 2% to Rs 1,360.
TCS has shed 1.7% at Rs 824. Bharti Airtel and Satyam have declined 1.5% each to Rs 798 and Rs 375, respectively.
BHEL and Jaiprakash Associates have shed 1.3% each at Rs 1,647 and Rs 155, respectively.
Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank are down 1% each at Rs 2,561, Rs 629 and Rs 1,081, respectively.
Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 645. DLF has gained 2% at Rs 501.
The market breadth is marinally negative - out of 2,479 stocks traded so far, 1,216 have declined, 1,187 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
