Mentha oil gains 0.56% on industrial demand

Lower arrivals from producing belts also supported the gains

Mentha oil futures for January rose by Rs 8.10, or 0.56%, to Rs 1,431.70 per kg in 824 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract gained Rs 7.90, or 0.54%, to Rs 1,446.40 per kg in 80 lots.

Fresh buying by speculators, pick- up in industrial and export demand amid lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh pushed up mentha oil futures.
