This is mainly due to a sharp fall in the stock prices of South Indian Bank, JK Tyre, Aban Offshore and Sesa Goa — down 8-14 per cent each. However, losses were contained by a eight per cent rise in Lupin. Parmar's top three stocks are Lupin, Lakshmi Machine and Cadila Healthcare. The cash levels stand at Rs 5.35 lakh.

The profits varied in the range of 8-15 per cent each. Ambani holds 29 stocks in his portfolio, of which Valecha Engineering, Visaka Industries, JBF Industries, Bajaj Finserv and United Phosphorous are the leading gainers. Incidentally, Tata stocks Tata Elxsi, Tata Metaliks and Tata Sponge are the prominent laggards. Ambani's net worth was down marginally at Rs 13.92 lakh, while cash levels have risen to Rs 4.51 lakh.

Vinay Khattar cut his losses by exiting from some of his poor performing scrips. He booked significant losses in the range of 7-12 per cent each on his investments in Aries Agro, Godawari Power, Jaiprakash Associates, Crew BOS and Aegis Logistics.
