Pantaloon Retail India has moved up this morning after it got shareholders’ approval to raise Rs 368 crore from sale of equity and linked warrants to promoters and select investors.
The stock today opened at Rs 218, up 3%, and is now trading at Rs 217. The counter has clocked trades of 20,068 shares on the BSE so far.
This move will help the promoters to raise their stake to 51% from 46.5%.
