Steady conditions prevailed on the wholesale pulses market today as prices moved in a narrow range and most pulses ended the day around previous levels.

Arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb and volume of business poor.

Traders said subdued demand against adequate stocks, mainly kept pulses prices steady.

In the national capital, moth dropped by Rs 200 to Rs 2,400-2,700 per quintal.

Urad 3,900-4,400, Urad chilka (local) 4,800-5,200, best 5,300-5,800, Dhoya 5,350-5,450, Moong 4,500-4,700, Dal moong chilka local 5,400-5,800, Moong Dhoya local 5,700-5,900 and best quality 6,300-6,500.
