Punj Lloyd gains on electrification contracts worth Rs 483 crore
The company has received two orders worth Rs 483 crore from NTPC
SI Reporter Mumbai Shares of Punj Lloyd were up over 2% at Rs 25.80 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company said that it has received two rural electrification contracts worth Rs 483 crore from NTPC.
The scope of work under this projects includes supply and erectio for the rural electrification work for construction/augmentation of substations, installion of distribution transformers and providing service connections to BPL consumers around the district, the company said in a release.
With this, the cumulative value of the orders received in third quarter of the current financial year is worth approximately Rs 1,000 crore.
The stock opened at Rs 25.55 and touched a high of Rs 25.90. At 2:05pm, over 1.4 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
