Refined soya oil futures fell by Rs 2.85, 0.53 per cent, to Rs 530.75 per 10 kg today, as traders booked profits at higher levels influenced by falling demand in spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, refined soya oil for delivery in November fell by Rs 2.85, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 530.75 per 10 kg, with a trading volume of 51 lots.
Similarly, the refined soya oil for delivery in December declined by Rs 1.85, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 539 per 10 kg, with a trade volume of three lots.
The fall in refined soya oil was mostly attributed to speculators booking profits at higher levels amid fall in demand in the spot market, traders said.
