Satyam gains 0.4%; Ranbaxy declines 5.2%

Satyam has gained 0.4% at Rs 474. Wipro has advanced 0.3% to Rs 486. Tata Steel, ACC and Hindalco have gained less than half per cent.

Ranbaxy has declined 5.2% to Rs 557. HDFC is down 4.3% to Rs 2,208. BHEL has lost 4% to Rs 1,436 and L&T has dipped 3.7% to Rs 2,641. SBI has lost 3.5% to Rs 1,298.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Infrastructure, Maruti, DLF, Tata Motors and Jaiprakash Associates are the other losers.
