The Sensex today ended (provisional) at 13,407, down 96 points.

The Sensex is now at 13,384, down 120 points, after touching a high of 13,461 points.
The Consumer Durables index continue to pull the index down, which has plunged 5.5% to 2,618. It is followed by Realty, Metal, Auto and Power indices.
Hindalco and Jaiprakash Associates have tumbled 5.5% to Rs 68 and Rs 175, respectively.
Maruti Suzuki and Tata Steel have declined nearly 5% to Rs 1,049 and Rs 336, respectively.
Infosys and Sun Pharma have advanced over 2% each to Rs 1,767 and Rs 1,145, respectively.
The market breadth is extremely negative - out of 2,596 shares, 2,072 have declined, only 464 have advanced.
