Sensex rebounds into the green

The Sensex has rebounded and is now up 44 points at 16,854.

The Nifty is up nine points at 5,006.

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive terrain and is now at 16,817, up 10 points.

The NSE Nifty is at 4,992, down five points.

Grasim Industries has added 1.5% at Rs 2,183. ITC and TCS have increased over 1% each at Rs 263 and Rs 649, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates has declined around 3% to Rs 231. Hero Honda and BHEL are down 2% each at Rs 1,551 and Rs 2,340, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure, DLF, SBI, Hindalco and Sterlite have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 1,208, Rs 447, Rs 2,318, Rs 139 and Rs 817, respectively.

The market breadth is negative, out of 2,344 shares traded, 1,346 have declined and 935 have advanced so far on the BSE.
