Sensex slips, breadth truns -ve; Reliance down 3%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 64 points at 14,660. 

Grasim has slumped 5.5% to Rs 1,945. Hindalco has slipped over 3% to Rs 132.

Reliance has shed 2.7% at Rs 2,215. Ranbaxy has dropped 2.3% to Rs 488.

Sterlite, Tata Motors, ACC and Tata Power have declined 2% each to Rs 608, Rs 424, Rs 598 and Rs 1,015, respectively.

Reliance Communications has dropped 1.7% to Rs 417. Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Infrastructure are down 1.5% each at Rs 574 and Rs 971, respectively.

HDFC Bank has rallied 2.7% to Rs 1,206. HDFC has surged 2.3% to Rs 2,340.

Satyam has advanced over 2% to Rs 421, and TCS has gained 1.5% at Rs 844.

Hindustan Unilever is up 1% at Rs 242.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,412 stocks traded so far, 1,256 have declined, 1,071 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
