Sensex up 202pts; Ranbaxy soars 8%
The NSE Nifty is up 44 points at 3,905.
Ranbaxy has soared 7.7% to Rs 440. HDFC has rallied 2.2% to Rs 1,840.
Larsen & Toubro, BHEL and Reliance Infrastructure have surged 1.7% each to Rs 2,320, Rs 1,395 and Rs 780, respectively.
Hindalco, HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications are up over 1% each at Rs 140, Rs 927 and Rs 410, respectively.
