Shinsei Asset Management Company (India) today announced the launch of its Shinsei Treasury Advantage Fund with the objective of generating regular income at low risk.
It opens for subscription today and will close on October 7, a press release issued here said.
Shinsei Treasury Advantage Fund is an open-ended income scheme which seeks to generate income from a portfolio consisting of money-market instruments with residual maturity of up to one year (60-100 per cent of the corpus) and debt securities including corporate debt, securitised debt and government securities with residual maturity of up to three-years (0-40 per cent of the corpus).
The credit quality of the portfolio will be maintained and monitored using in-house research capabilities as well as inputs from external sources such as idependent credit rating agencies, the release said.
The designated fund manager for the scheme is Killol Pandya, Head — Fixed Income at Shinsei AMC.
