Soyabean futures fall on selling

Soyabean prices declined by Rs 17, or 0.82 per cent, to Rs 2,052 per quintal in futures trade today on selling by traders, in tandem with weak global markets cue.
Marketmen said weak trend in overseas markets drove the soybean down here in futures trading.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, soyabean prices for current-month September contract eased by Rs 17, or 0.82 per cent, to Rs 2,052 per quintal, with an open interest of 56,220 lots.
November-month delivery also slipped by Rs 14.50, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 2,062 per quintal, with an open interest of 90,760 lots.
