Suzlon slumps on Q2 net loss

The stock extended losses and touched a low of Rs 58 - down 13% from the previous close. The stock ended at the day's low with trades of over 22.15 million shares, as against its two week daily average trade of 6.39 million shares.

Reacting to weak results, Suzlon has slumped in early trades today.

The stock touched a high of Rs 65 and a low of Rs 61 - down 9% from the previous close. The stock is now down 6% at Rs 63. Over 783,877 stocks have been traded on the BSE so far.

Suzlon has reported a net loss of Rs 356 crore for the second quarter of FY10 against a net loss of Rs 23 crore in the same quarter in the previous year. During the quarter under review, the company posted a decline of 31 per cent in its revenues at Rs 4,793 crore against Rs 6,921 crore for the same quarter previous year.
