Total market turnover on Aug 9 at Rs 1.55 trillion
BSE witnessed decline in cash turnover compared to Wednesday
The total market turnover on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange was Rs 1,54,775 crore (Rs trillion) on Thursday.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment amounted to Rs 2,110 crore while the derivatives segment registered a turnover of Rs 37,382 crore.
On the National Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment was Rs 11,232 crore while the turnover in the derivatives segment was Rs 1,03,051 crore.
