US markets edge up on fresh data
US markets edged up on Monday as inventories and housing data gave a fillip to investor's confidence. The Dow added 77 points to 9,789. The Nasdaq was flat at 2,049.
Indian ADRs were mostly in the green. Tata Communications surged 6.5% to $16.23. Dr Reddy's rallied 5.5% to $22.93.
ICICI Bank gained 4% at $32.8. Tata Motors added 3% to $11.72.
Wipro and Sterlite were up 2% each. Genpact and HDFC Bank advanced around 1% each.
However, Mahindra Satyam shed 3% at $5.14. MTNL slipped 1.5% to $2.86.
