Hyundai India would launch two all-new vehicles in the country in 2015, it's almost known to every bloke. And, those two vehicles are Elite i20 based crossover and ix25 compact SUV, which are expected to come out by April and November, respectively. Recently, both the aforesaid vehicle were spied testing, albeit with camouflage on the Indian roads. Hyundai is banking heavily on these two upcoming vehicles to capture larger market share in the country.

It has been reported that both - Hyundai Elite i20 Cross and Hyundai ix25 compact SUV - would have over 90 percent of localization. It clearly indicates that pricing is going to be extremely competitive and they could give a good run for money to the respective foes in the segment. The Elite i20 based crossover would take on the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Etios Cross and Fiat Avventura, while being priced around Rs. 50,000-75,000 higher than the top-end trim of Elite i20. The Elite i20 Cross would flaunt exquisite sporty features at the outside such as LED daytime running lights, projector headlights, roof rails, new alloy wheels, skid guards and body cladding.

On the other hand, Hyundai ix25 compact SUV would be projected against Renault's premium offering Duster in the country, while pricing around Rs. 8-10 lakhs (ex-showroom). It would boast some of the most contemporary features such as all-wheel-drive system, automatic climate control, and powered seats. Hyundai ix25 is already on sale in China and going by its list of safety features there, which includes six-airbags, ABS, EBD and TCS, it seems to be the safest car of its segment. However, it remains to be seen interesting what the company offers with the Indian version. Though, going by the magnanimous exterior design, it is sure to grab top honours in the country, while posing a real threat to the Renault Duster and likes.
