A militant has been killed and three others have been wounded in an explosion triggered by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan's Paktia province.
The incident took place when a group of insurgents were considering planting an IED on a roadside in Zazai district, reported Khaama Press, citing, the Afghan Military, as saying.
The killed militant has been identified as Mohammad Wali.
Three improvised explosive devices have been discovered and defused in Paktia and Wardak provinces of the war-torn country.
The anti-government armed militant groups often use explosive materials for the roadside bombings to target the government staff and security personnel.
