British Boy band One Direction has topped the tour earning list as they cash-in 2.6 million pounds for every gig, it has been revealed.
The four member band have become the highest earning on-the-road stars in the world after raking-in an impressive 185 million pounds from this year's 'Where We Are' tour, the Daily Star reported.
American country star Taylor Swift, and Beyonce have Taylor Swift managed an average of 1.75 million pounds and 1.7 million pounds at each of their shows.
Mike Raia, media analyst asserted that two thirds of the planet was covered by water and the rest was covered by One Direction.
That mind-boggling amount has only been surpassed twice in music history, by U2 and Madonna, who averaged 4.29 million pounds and 3.06 million pounds per concert respectively on monster tours between 2008 and 2011.
