1D hunk Niall Horan's new love interest gets online death threats

An Aussie student has been hounded with online death threats by One Direction fans after she was spotted snogging Niall Horan in a casino.

The 21-year-old Melissa Whitelaw took it to her Instagram account to say "I haven't done anything to any of you so please stop sending me mean comments," the Daily Star reported.

Whitelaw, who was snapped leaving a private jet with the 21-year-old singer when he touched down in Sydney for two nights of shows, added on her @edgeofmydesire account that "for all you asking yeah Niall and I dating. Niall has not posted about it because we have decided we will wait until it's the right time."

However, Horan's admirers continued the backlash, with one saying "Someone said to me Melissa and Niall look cute together. Let's just say I will not be showing at her funeral and I did not kill her," while another adding "Directioners are millions. If you break his heart you'll be f***ed up. Leave him.
