One Direction has made history by topping the US Billboard 200 with their third album 'Midnight Memories'.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, the third album has sold a staggering 546,000 copies since being released, the BBC reported.
Midnight Memories has also secured the number one position in UK and has been named the fastest-selling album for two years.
The album had sold 237,000 copies in its first week as it topped the Official Album Chart, and sold 145,000 copies in three days.
