2 MULTA militants arrested in Assam

Security forces have arrested two members of the banned Islamist extremist organisation Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam (MULTA) in the Goalpara district of Assam.
According to reports, a joint team of the army and the state police took part in the operations. A pistol and fake currency worth Rs two lakh were also recovered from the arrested militants.
