The Delhi High Court has instructed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to deregister six aircraft given on lease to SpiceJet after the airliner had allegedly not paid its dues.

According to reports, the judgement came after two Irish firms moved the court seeking directions to the DGCA for the same.

While issuing the direction to the DGCA, Justice Rajiv Shakdher also said that the body will decide the plea by the Irish firms to export the planes in two weeks.
