Soha Ali Khan, who is all set with her upcoming flick '31st October,' recently said that this movie has given her a chance to prove herself as an actor.

"I think only in few films you get a chance to prove your acting skills and it's that film. It's a performance oriented film and I am so proud to be a part of it and also it has a lot of powerful scenes so I got a chance to prove myself several times. I'm happy, " she said.

Seems like, this is why the 'Rang De Basanti' actress is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that her upcoming film does well at the box-office.

Recently the 37-year-old actress, along with her co-star Vir Das was spotted visiting a Ganesh Pandal to seek blessings for the movie.

Based on a real incident, '31st October' has been directed by National Award winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil and focuses on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi's assassination which occurred on 31 October 1984.

The movie will hit screens on September 29.
