An Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) survey has said that 50 percent of the respondents in the United States watch more videos on their mobile devices that they did a year back.
According to TechCrunch, many respondents said that they're watching more video on mobile devices than they were a year ago, 42 percent of those surveyed in Canada, New Zealand and South Africa.
Thirty-six percent of respondents said that they watch videos that are five minutes or longer on a daily basis.
The IAB said that viewers in China are particularly open to watching movies and TV episodes on their phones.
In addition, 37 percent of respondents in China and 35 percent in Singapore said they're watching less TV due to watching more mobile video.
