EL James' sexually explicit novels 'Fifty Shades of Grey' trilogy, which brings in 100,000 pounds per day, have made her one of Britain's wealthiest authors.
The 51-year-old earned nearly 44 million pounds in 2013 because of her raunchy novels, the Daily Express reported.
Since the first book in the trilogy was released in 2011 the series has sold more than 100 million copies and made James, real name Erika Leonard, the fifth richest British author.
However, 'Harry Potter' author JK Rowling leads the list with a personal fortune of 570 million pounds.
