A colossal cauliflower has broken the world record as it weights a hefty 60lb.

The vegetable, which is 20 times the size of a normal cauliflower, beat the previous 1999 record of a cauliflower which weighed 54lb, the Daily Express reported.

The vegetable has been produced by champion grower Peter Glazebrook, who also holds records for the longest beetroot and parsnip (21ft and 19ft) plus the heaviest onion (18lb) and potato (11lb) as well as a 97lb marrow.
