Police in Maharashtra's Beed District have seized about 785 kilograms of marijuana from Chaklamba Village.
The seizure was effected after due verification, the district police said.
Investigating officer Dilip Tejankar said, "The accused were growing marijuana plants in 10-15 acres of cotton field along with cotton. Of the three culprits, two have been arrested. A total of 785 kilograms of marijuana has been seized from them."
Tejankar added that the farmers kept the height of the marijuana crop to the same level as that of cotton to hide it.
