Ranbir Kapoor, who has witnessed a roller coaster in career with some hits and flops, has always been supported by none other than Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan
At the recently held song launch of 'Galti Se Mistake' from his upcoming film 'Jagga Jasoos', the 34-year-old, when asked how he reacts to compliments from Aamir and Paresh Rawal, he replied, "Thank you Aamir sir and Paresh sir. These guys are stalwarts of the industry. Have learnt a lot from them and from their movies."
"I think his (Aamir Khan) love for me is very deep and I really appreciate that. The fact that he loves my work is 'sone pe suhaaga'. I just hope I can live up to his expectations."
Adding, "I hope I don't let you down. Aamir sir has been very sweet and supportive to me in my entire career. I remember when 'Bombay Velvet' had flopped, Aamir sir was traveling, he came straight to my house, sat with me the entire night and discussed acting, film industry, hits and flops."
The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' star also spoke about his upcoming projects and shared his excitement on the same.
"I feel extremely blessed and grateful. Last couple of years weren't really good for me at the box office. But still, to have a film with Anurag Basu, Rajkumar Hirani and Ayan Mukerji. I feel safe and I feel they are gifting their vision to me and I really hope that I can repay that with my talent and good performances. So I am really excited about my lineup of films!" he concluded.
On this note, other than 'Jagga Jasoos,' the 'Rockstar' actor will also be seen in Raju Hirani directed Sanjay Dutt biopic, portraying the actor and in Ayan's 'Dragon,' alongside Alia Bhatt.
Directed by Anurag Basu, 'Jagga Jasoos' also stars Katrina Kaif and is slated to release on July 14.
