American football star Aaron Hernandez has reportedly been charged with an alleged assault in jail in February and an alleged threat at the jail last November.

The former New England Patriots tight-end is being held without bail at the Bristol County House of Correction in Dartmouth after pleading not guilty to the murder of a semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's girlfriend.

According to the Huffington Post, Hernandez was indicted on charges of assault and battery and threats to do bodily harm, although his arraignment has not been scheduled.

The county sheriff has said Hernandez was involved in a Feb. 25 scuffle with another inmate but neither of them required medical attention, the report added.
