India's leading online recruitment marketplace that connects entry level job seekers with employers Aasaanjobs on Monday announced that it has witnessed a phenomenal surge in IT recruitments, in India's IT hub, Bengaluru.

The company saw a 97 percent increase in IT hiring on its platform, this quarter versus the last one.

Aasaanjobs started helping clients recruit for IT roles and positions in November last year and since then, it had been seeing a rapid growth in the number of job roles and openings available in Bangalore in the domain of information technology.

"In line with our strategy of becoming a recruitment platform of choice for jobs across hierarchies and industries, we had started recruiting for IT roles last year. The growth we're seeing on the platform is tremendous and we plan to move on to other industries and job roles equally fast," said CEO of Aasaanjobs, Dinesh Goel.

Recently, the company announced the launch of its latest keyword-based job search feature. The new feature allows recruiters to search and filter out jobs using predefined keywords. Earlier, recruiters could search jobs only by job title and company name, and was mostly done offline.
