'Anchorman' director Adam McKay has decided not to direct Marvel's upcoming film 'Ant-Man', it has been revealed.
McKay was reportedly in talks to direct the movie and replace Edgar Wright, but ultimately passed the offer and now Marvel and Disney are looking for another director, Variety reported.
'Ant-Man', expected to film later this summer, is still slated for theatrical release on July 17, 2015 and stars Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly.
It was earlier revealed that Wright walked away from the project on May 23 after Marvel altered a version of the script he and Joe Cornish had written without their knowledge.
The story revolves around Ant-Man, alter ego of biochemist Hank Pym, who uses subatomic particles to create a size-altering formula and when tests go awry, realizes he can also communicate with and control insects.
