In January 2016, Adda52.com, India's largest poker site, announced the Player of the Year (POY) award for the best poker talent in the country. And now, after 11 months of playing challenging games and tournaments, the grueling poker action is set to culminate into the POY finale, where the most skilled poker players will battle for the top prize. This is the first time that any Indian poker site will reward its players for their skill and cumulative performance of a year.
"Adda52 Player of the Year 2016" is set to award 10 of the finest poker players a share from the whopping prize money of Rs. 40 lakh. Of this, the player leading the leader board will be awarded with Rs. 10 lakh and the remaining nine players will share the Rs. 30 lakh in prize money. To top the leader board, the players earned points by competing in the top-drawer poker tournaments and cash games running on the site throughout the year.
This month the poker site is offering the last and final opportunity "Race to POY 2016" to poker players for climbing up the leader board, and be eligible for the prestigious title which will also bring an extra four lakh in prize money (inclusive of special rewards). First, the players need to deposit cash between December 7th - 10th using deposit codes, and then play on various promotions, namely, Max Hands Marathon, Frequent Play Points, and VIP Loyalty Race from December 11th - 24th to earn additional POY points.
Furthermore, there will be other promotions like exclusive Freerolls wherein the top 200 players will be eligible for free ticket to four freeroll tournaments based on their ranks as well as 2017 DPT Main Event Freerolls that would run on Adda52.com across the year. There will also be four Wildcard Entries into Top 200 of "Adda52 Player of the Year -2016". They will be selected from the list of highest jumpers between December 1st - 25th.
Adda52.com has always provided enticing gaming opportunities to poker players, and the Player of the Year is both a culmination of consistent performance and a reward for the loyalty shown towards the game of Poker.
