Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on the occasion of National Sports Day, will today present 25 sportspersons with the Laxman and Rani Awards at a programme to be held at his residence.
In addition to it, the players, who have performed exemplarily well in different sports will also be honoured by Adityanath.
The minister of State, Pricipal Sports secretary and a number of departmental officers will be present at the function.
Adityanath will also inaugurate the first employment summit at the Scientific Convention Center at 11 a.m.
The Chief Minister will also chair a Cabinet meeting at his office at 5 p.m.
