After 16 years Shaswat Dham opened by Nepal President

Nawalparasi [Nepal], Mar. 9(ANI): It took 16 years to construction Shaswat Dham before Nepal's President Bidhya Devi Bhandari inaugurated it on Wednesday.

President Bhandari said, "I have expected that the Dham established in the birth land of Gautam Buddha, this holy land would help spread peace and harmony. Located in the lap of Himalayan Ranges our country is penitential for Saints, Hermits, Intellectuals and people of other sects. In our country the development of Ayurveda and Yoga were developed very long and have a very glorious history regarding its development. The country also has shown a perfect example of religious tolerance and racial integration has been established as splendor."

Binod Chaudhary, Nepal's first billionaire and the chairman of the Chaudhary Group, said "In the presence of honorable president and other distinguished people from Nepal and abroad who have been contributing a lot in the various aspects of life and field I want to make an appeal to all that Nepal should be established as an Hindu National eternally and all religions could be included in its shade, no violence take place in the name of religion, Shaswat Dham represents this ideology."

The inaugural ceremony of Shaswat Dham showcased religious harmony and unity with the representation of religious leaders, of namely Hindu, Islam, Christianity, Jainism, Sikhism, amongst others.

Shaswat Dham provides knowledge and pleasure to the people who are in search of spirituality and religion. The main temple inside the Dham, Ekambareshwor- the Shiva Temple is built with the world famous Khajuraho- style of architecture.

The newly inaugurated Dham has the unique story about its construction. The main temple of the Dham was constructed by the people (Workers) from so called Dalit community.
