Amazon has released a new and free feature, X-Ray, in an update of its Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices.
According to the TechCrunch, Amazon's X-Ray will provide interactive popovers displaying things like plot, characters, authors and more for movies and TV shows users stream through Amazon Instant Video.
X-Ray takes all of its data from IMDB, so users will be able to figure out where they have seen actors and actresses before directly from the on-screen interface, with information about cast, crew, trivia, soundtrack and more.
Amazon says the X-Ray feature for Fire can be enabled with a single button press on their Fire TV remote.
