Amitabh Bachchan who has lent his baritone voice to many songs, including rap has churned out a new rap number 'Aukaat', which is the opening credit in Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming murder mystery film 'Badla'.

The peppy track has been sung by Amitabh, Amit Mishra and Clinton Cerejo. The intense music has been composed by Clinton Cerejo and the hard-hitting lyrics have been penned by Siddhant Kaushal.

The Big B had previously rapped in the 2018 release '102 Not Out'. 'Aukaat' is here to give some competition to 'Apna Time Aayega' rap hit by Ranveer Singh in recent release Zoya Akthar's 'Gully Boy'.

If you loved Ranveer's rapping skills, make way for a new rap song 'Aukaat' in your playlist by the Big B.

Taapsee Pannu who is reuniting with Big B, after having previously worked in 'Pink' with him, shared the song on her Twitter handle.

She wrote, "Tera agla pichhla, tu badal leke Badla! #Aukaat from #Badla out now."

In 'Aukaat', the veteran actor can be seen rapping and grooving to the music effortlessly. Big B can be seen dressed in a black sweatshirt and matching coloured pants coupled with a pair of clouts in the video of the song. His swag is unmatchable and unmissable in the rap song, and is definitely a treat for his fans that get to see Big B in this new avatar.

Amitabh has earlier sung songs in his films. He had sung 'Ekla Cholo Re' in Sujoy Ghosh's blockbuster 'Kahaani'.

The makers of 'Badla' had earlier dropped an emotional track titled 'Kyun Rabba' from the film. The song hints at Taapsee being in an extramarital affair and how she deals with the guilt.

'Badla' revolves around a murder mystery, where Taapsee's character becomes the primary suspect after she is found with her boyfriend's dead body and money in a locked room. Amitabh plays a successful lawyer, who has to defend and save her by solving the mystery.

Reportedly, the Sujoy Gosh directorial is a remake of 2016 Spanish film 'The Invisible Guest', which was directed by Oriol Paulo.

The upcoming film marks the fourth collaboration of Amitabh with Sujoy, after 'Aladin', 'TE3N' and 'Kahaani'.

The murder mystery has been widely shot in Scotland. It also stars Manav Kaul and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment along with Azure Entertainment.

The movie is set to hit theatres on March 8 and will clash with Brie Larson's 'Captain Marvel'.
