Anantnag: CRPF foils bank robbery, one terrorist arrested

Two armed terrorists charged into the premises of the Jammu and Kashmir bank's TP branch in Anantnag and opened fire on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel there and tried to snatch their rifles.

The CRPF jawans immediately overpowered one assailant and arrested him while the other terrorist managed to escape.

The injured CRPF personnel has been identified as Head Constable Koushal Kumar of 40 Battalion F. Company and has been shifted to the nearby hospital.
