Anna hazare, hunger strike, jantar mantar, Lokpal bill

Social Activist Anna Hazare on Thursday said he will go on another hunger strike for a stronger Lokpal bill at Jantar Mantar on December 10.

"The movement that will take place for a stronger Lokpal Bill will be similar to the one that took place on 11 August 2011. Even this time we will follow the same pattern," said Anna.

Adding to which he said that if the Parliament does not pass the Lokpal Bill, he along with a few other members will assemble two days before the session and take a concrete step.

"If the parliament does not pass the Lokpal bill in this session, I, along with a few other members from all over the country will assemble exact two days before the session and will take a concrete step," he said.

On being asked if he would accept the support of Arvind Kejriwal for a stronger Lokpal Bill, if he extends his support, Anna replied saying that it was pointless.

"Even if Kejriwal joins us in our movement we will not accept him as his and my paths are different, since the time he formed his own party," said Anna.

Commenting on the possibility of the Janatantra Morcha becoming a political party in the future he said it will never become a political party.

"There are a lot of people who want to be associated with the Janatantra Morcha but, it will never become a political party neither will it support any party. It will only serve and fight for the welfare of the people and against corruption," he said.
