Tech giants, accused of engaging in wage-fixing, may have settled the class action lawsuit filed against them by their employees, but not everyone is happy with the 324 million dollar settlement.
According to CNET, Michael Devine, a freelance programmer and member of the class, has spoken out against the deal and even issued a letter asking US District Court Judge Lucy Koh, who will ultimately decide on the settlement, for "a chance at real justice".
Devine, one of a few class representatives, said in an interview with The New York Times recently that the 324 million dollars is a ridiculous sum for what happened.
He added that the settlement was just one-tenth of what the class was seeking.
Device has set up his own website outlining his strong opposition to the tentative settlement in the case and to reach out to others who may feel the same and may wish to act, the report added.
