As Apple releases iOS 8 tomorrow and its next generation of iPhone later this week, it has come up with a guide that is aimed at helping people to switch from android to iPhone, a report said.
The guide tells new iPhone users how to transfer their photos, music, documents, contacts, and calendars from their old device to their new one using iTunes and iCloud, reported The Verge.
However, the guide shows that a lot of time has not been spent on making tools for moving data from one operating system to another. Also, the company mentions several third-party apps of questionable quality including, AT and T's Mobile Transfer, as one of the best options for transferring data between devices.
With Apple's new models competing with Android phones in screen size, the company seems to be expecting that a lot of people will make the switch from Samsung, HTC, and other devices to its iPhone.
