Apple is set to sue Samsung for higher damages for the latest patent fight between the two companies.
The Cupertino-based company that was reportedly awarded with 19.6 million dollars as compensation from Samsung has been looking to get the number revised to 2.191 billion dollars.
According to The Verge, Apple filed documents in court to seek a permanent injunction against a number of older Samsung phones such as Admire, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2 etc. However, the newer devices were not filed in the latest lawsuit between the two companies.
Reports have further added that Apple has also sought for a sales ban against 'software or code capable of implementing any infringing feature, and/or any feature not more than colorably different therefrom'that could include newer phones and tablets.
The Company filed a separate new lawsuit against damages for all five patents. Also, documents filed by Samsung seek for regulation and adjustment of damages in a favorable verdict.
